das beste kommt zum schluss, wie es so schön heißt… acker records wirft zum großen finale der aktuellen freiluftsaison noch mal eine ordentliche portion vertonte sommereuphorie in die runde, oder besser gesagt auf die tanzfläche. warme klangfarben, lebensbejahende rhythmen und eine gehörige dosis hitpotential ziehen sich durch die rillen der platte, welche die herrschaften dole & kom hier vorlegen. für das ständchen auf ihrer „quetschkommode“ lassen sie sich von südamerikanischen melodien inspirieren, die passende percussion dazu liefert entsprechend temperamentvolle schubkraft. home beginnt mit minimalem groove, aus dem takt für takt immer mehr melodieschichten herausfiltern, der rhythmus baut mit jedem beat weiter auf… bis sich der hörer plötzlich inmitten einer zwingenden house-nummer wiederfindet, ohne zu wissen, wie er dort eigentlich hingelangt ist. die b-seite gehört mollono.bass. mit hüpfendem offbeat und funkensprühenden hi-hat-kaskaden treibt er die ausgeprägte latino-euphorie der quetschkommode durch dubbige hallräume.
